  --  Com.Joseph Stalin's thesis on Nationality question is the reference for all genuine communists. Joseph Stalin wrote his seminal work on the nationality question, titled Marxism and the National Question (originally published as "The National Question and Social-Democracy"), at the end of 1912 and the beginning of 1913.  Location: He wrote the piece while living in Vienna, Austria. Publication: It was first published in the Bolshevik monthly journal Prosveshcheniye (Enlightenment) in 1913.
